Difficulty: Intermediate
Duration: 5 minutes
Occasion: Written for Pioneer Day, 2015
Description: This arrangement sets all four verses of the beloved pioneer hymn. The first verse presents the familiar melody in its traditional hymnbook setting. The second and third verses feature lively dialogues between the right and left hands. The fourth verse returns to the melody with grandeur, following a brief minor-mode passage that mirrors the somber opening of the text. Ideal for Pioneer Day celebrations, church services, or simple enjoyment at home.
