David Rubino

My musical journey began at age thirteen when I first heard Mozart’s Symphony No. 41 "Jupiter". That encounter with classical music opened a world that quickly became a lifelong passion.

I began studying piano with the guidance of my grandmother, who introduced me to the instrument and nurtured my early love for music. At the same time, I discovered the pipe organ through free concerts at a local church. Inspired by its sound, I began taking lessons from one of the church organists, marking the beginning of an ongoing journey with the instrument. Today, I serve as organist for my congregation.

Eventually, I began composing my own music, initially as a way to explore harmony and form. What started as a personal study gradually became a creative focus, leading me to share my works with a wider audience.

My music draws inspiration from Baroque and Classical traditions, American folk and patriotic styles, and Christian hymnody. Through this website, I share my compositions with performers, educators, and congregations around the world.
